The building’s origin as a gallery that was once dedicated to Kutani ware and other craft objects from around the world remains ever present throughout the interior of Korinkyo. Carefully restored and reimagined, the space still carries the spirit of its past: Kutani ceramics and artisanal pieces shape the atmosphere here while arched motifs echo the forms and displays that once defined the gallery. Rather than serving as mere decoration, these elements create a lived environment where culture is experienced intimately, not kept behind glass or rope.

The guestrooms are composed with refined restraint, allowing soothing light and materials to be the stars of the interior design. The atmosphere encourages a slower rhythm where attention shifts naturally inward and invites introspection. The result is a stay that feels grounded in Japanese sensibilities of slowing down without losing contemporary comforts. A guest lounge for interactions and cultural exchange is also available.

Facing the main street, the City View Suite overlooks the magnificent city of Kanazawa, with scenic views extending toward the historic castle area. The large-window-facing sofa becomes a relaxing vantage point to observe the city’s busy rhythm from above.

Superior

Located on lower to mid floors and oriented away from the street, the Superior rooms emphasize calm and spaciousness. With a simple layout and gentle atmosphere, they provide a comfortable base for a day of sightseeing and relaxation.
